Registered in 2005 as a Welfare Society, the Chamber unites Tibetan business — in exile and inside Tibet.

From an independent shop to a growing enterprise, every business has a place in our community.

01 / OUR WORK

Membership & Community

Each year, the Tibetan Chamber of Commerce (TCC) conducts its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and so far, the organisation has successfully organised 19 AGMs. The AGM serves as an important platform for maintaining transparency and accountability in the organisation’s work with its members and partners. It provides an opportunity to present and review the organisation’s activities, financial matters, achievements, and progress during the year. The meeting also brings members together to share their views, raise concerns, participate in discussions, and contribute ideas for the organisation’s future plans and initiatives. Through the AGM, TCC encourages active participation from its members and strengthens communication, cooperation, and a shared sense of responsibility towards the growth and development of the Tibetan business community.

International Trade Delegations

TCC has organized three trade delegation to the USA and two to Europe, providing Tibetan entrepreneurs and business representatives with opportunities to gain international exposure and understand different business environments. These delegations help participants connect with international businesses, explore potential partnerships and markets, exchange ideas and build valuable networks beyond India. Through these activities, TCC continuous to support it's members in exploring opportunities in the international business community.

Business Support Workshops

TCC support s entrepreneur's and aspiring business owners by organizing workshops and learning sessions for both members and non-members. These workshops cover practical topics such as cyber security, business management, digital tools, financial planning and marketing, others areas that can help entrepreneurs improve and grow their business. TCC also provides startup funding and a platform for new entrepreneurs to learn, connect with others and explore opportunities for their business idea.

04Trade Fair ParticipationFor the past decade, TCC has been participating in India International Trade Fair(IITF) every year, providing Tibetan businesses with a platform to showcase their products and services to a wider audience. Through this participation, members get opportunities to connect with business, customers and visitors from different parts of India and abroad, helping them gain greater visibility, explore new business opportunities and build international exposure.05Community & Cultural FestivalsTCC has organised three Himalayan festival and two Tibet festival, taking initiatives to showcase and promote the rich Tibetan and Himalayan culture and traditions. These festivals provide a platform to present traditional dances, handicrafts, food and services to a wider audience. Through these events, TCC also supports Tibetan businesses and entrepreneurs while creating greater awareness and appreciation of our cultural heritage.06Entrepreneur & Startup SupportTCC creates opportunities for entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, and members to connect, learn, and build meaningful professional relationships. Through networking dinners and meet-ups, TCC brings together members with experienced business leaders, professionals, and high-level business personalities. These interactions provide a platform to exchange ideas, seek guidance, explore opportunities, and gain practical insights for starting or growing a business. TCC aims to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs and support them in building stronger and more confident businesses within the community.

How do I become a member?

Contact the Chamber directly — membership subscriptions are the primary funding for our work, and every Tibetan business owner is welcome to join and contribute.

Who funds the Chamber?

We are a non-profit. Our day-to-day operations and community activities are funded primarily by membership fees from the Tibetan business community.

What support do members get?

International trade delegation exposure, trade fair participation, practical business workshops, networking events and a platform to connect smaller enterprises with larger ones.

Is the Chamber open to all business sizes?

Yes — a core goal is to create a platform with no discrimination between small and big businesses, and to uplift younger and smaller entrepreneurs.
